A native of Canton, Ohio, Selena graduated from Miami University with a degree in Political Science before attending law school at Capital University Law School. She began her career in bankruptcy law, first serving as a legal extern for the United States Bankruptcy Court in Columbus, then as a law clerk and later an attorney at a Canton firm. Ultimately, a desire to help retirees enjoy their retirement led her to transition into elder law and estate planning, motivating her to join the AlerStallings and Golden Reserve teams.

Selena enjoys getting outside, gardening, cooking, baking, and relaxing with her family: husband Jeffrey, son Wyatt, daughter Isla and dogs Ulla and Archie.
