It’s not uncommon for Joel to run across an article about social security or Roth conversions and think “which of my clients need to see this?” With more than 20 years in finance, Joel is dedicated to uncomplicating retirement planning for his clients. He strives to give everyone he serves the clarity to make confident decisions driven by fact, not fear.

Joel is a graduate of The University of Michigan and former CFO to a family of businesses he opened and grew. Cumulatively, he managed 250 employees across multiple states and was responsible for their retirement and insurance needs. Working with his employees to secure their future helped him realize his passion and ultimately led him to become a retirement planner.

Joel holds Series 65 and Life and Health licenses. He and his spouse, Tracy, share kids Theo, Flynn, and Avery, and a dog named Pete. When he’s not in the office, you can find Joel spending time with family, coaching kids’ soccer, and fishing.
